The Savages

A good film. Brilliant performance of Linney and Hoffman (as usual). Sometimes the stories with sad ingredients can give you good feelings... and this is the case.

Die Fälscher (The Counterfeiters)

Fantastic movie. It is a different review about the concentration camps of the old Germany and the fight of surviving versus principles. Really good.

Death Defying Acts

A very interesting movie. Guy Pearce makes a very good role but Catherine is not very credible in this movie. The movie is not very historical, but it is not bad.

Vantage Point

The beginning is promising. But all falls down as the film is advancing... more and more ridiculous. And finally the movie is a disaster. And of course, it is very strange to see a lot of people with obvious Mexican faces, all of them filling the Castilian square of Salamanca. Pathetic ;))

The Spiderwick Chronicles

It is an interesting movie if you like the fantasy films. The only problem is that when you see it, you feel that we already saw the movie before, because after Arthur and the minimoys, the seeker: the dark is rising, or the Narnia chronicles, and Bridge to Terabithia, this story, with children and creatures of fantasy, is not new. But at least the script is not bad and the effects are cool.

The Kite Runner

Two words: wonderful movie. It is one of the best movies I have seen this year. The story is brilliant, and it let you enter in the story since the beginning of the film. The kids are amazing. And the film is a good example about the consequences of the war and the stupid and fanatic mentality of the islamist societies. The scenes of Kabul, and the Afghan mountains and deserts, are great.

Jumper

This movie was better than I thought. The idea is very original and the especial effects are great. It is a fun movie to enjoy an evening at a theather with a good system of image and sound.
